What is Acorn's Community Play Project?
This holiday season, we are providing 10 custom switch-adapted toys completely free to families across Rhode Island. In partnership with the North Kingstown High School Robotics Team, whose students help engineer and create the switch connection and adapted toys, our goal is to bring accessible play to 10 children.
Sign-ups are first-come, first-serve, and families will be able to choose from a curated set of options so their child receives something they will truly enjoy.
Secure Your Spot or Join Next Year's List
To claim one of our 10 available spots for this holiday season, please fill out our quick intake form.
Because availability is strictly limited to the first 10 families, anyone who doesn't receive a toy this year will automatically be added to our priority list for next year's hopeful expansion.
Partner With Us for 2027
Local businesses, organizations, and community members interested in supporting future expansions are invited to contact us.
For the 2027 Acorn's Community Play Project, we are seeking official sponsorships to help us scale up production and assist even more families. Participating businesses will be prominently featured throughout our community project event next year!
